Wherever You Go, God Is...

Christmas is upon us. People are rushing around, doing last minute shopping, baking and cooking for parties and family get-togethers. I personally am looking forward to a family gathering including all of my children, their children and significant others/spouses, and my parents. I love these generational gatherings. There is so much love in the extended family.

As excited as I am and looking forward to my own family festivities, this is also a difficult time of year for me. Being an empath, I am all too aware of those who won't have jolly celebrations-who are alone, or in pain, or who may be taking their last walk at this time of year. Today I lit a candle to acknowledge those who are having a less than merry holiday this year, and I offer up this prayer for them--

May you always know--
The Light of God surrounds you;
The Love of God enfolds you;
The Power of God protects you;
Wherever you go, God is; and all is well!
